I've got a spare lower Rebel front suspension arm if that's what you are looking for. If you need a steering block, most guys who race a TOP run AE or Xenon steering blocks in lieu of the cheesy stock Rebel steering blocks anyway. The AE steering blocks actually work better, last longer, develop less slop, and they also eliminate the need for a stack of spacers on the kingpin.   I've got a spare AE steering block too although the shop may also stock the AE part since they are so commonly used and they fit on most every other 1/12th scale car (CRC being the notable exception).

I just checked my spare parts. I dont have any extras, but you can borrow the one off my car if you have to have one for tomorrow.  I'm not racing tomorrow.

But otherwise, I agree with ^^. It's probably a good time to upgrade to the AE or Xenon blocks anyway :)

Just shoot me a text if you wanna borrow mine. I'm in Durham near corner of Highway 55 and I40. (a few miles from Southpoint mall)

Well,
Even with only 3 entries the 1/12 mod class was a blast.
Lesson 1- ceramic diff bearings are a no-go in mod. I didn't think you could flat spot
Ceramic bearings until I tore the car apart and realized the bearings were gone and not the rings. Lol.

I encourage all the naysayers to attempt to punch their man card at least once this year and try the class.

At least you can pretend to not be a Nancy-boy for once.

Chad sell me your T2 so I can run 17.slow when we need enough people for both classes.

My diff (which has ceramic balls) held up just fine yesterday. Moral of story......when running mod, if you let the diff slip, stuff will get ruined. Thankfully it is preferable to run a tighter diff in mod anyway.

Make sure to use the old larger D rings. They are much stronger and flatter than the lightweight ones

I ran specs at first and they were OK. Later in the day I switched over to ulti x-hard fronts with green rears, since those were the only non-specs that I had in my tire box. That combo felt a little better although my car setup was getting better too, so it's hard to know how much of the improved feel was due to improving the chassis setup vs fitting the different rubber. I'm pretty sure that Adam ran Contact 30's front and rear, same set all day.   Unfortunately for him, and fortunately for me, he ran out of tire towards the end of the main....allowing me to steal the win on the last lap.   Regardless of which tire you choose for running 6.5, count on using a lot of them. For future mod events, I'll probably run Contact 35 fronts with 32 rears since they can be had for around $6/pair......which is important when it's almost surely gonna require two sets per outing in order to feed the mod beast's healthy appetite for tires.
